Mix bag.

Firstly I would like to apologise for my lazy ways, I have not been faithful to my poor neglected blog !

Ok so as you know, I am moving house and unfortunately it has taken up most of my time. I move in this week! So hopefully it won't be long until I'm all settled and we can get this show on the road, the Spearmint show that is. I have bags of clothes (of my own and Spearmints ) all over my room, bags, shoes, pots, pans, glassware...you name it, it's there. I actually have had two injuries due to minimal movement in my room.

I can't wait to go exploring in my new neighbourhood for op shops! Ah I love that feeling when you come across a new op shop, my heart jumps a mile and I my eyes go insane as I don't no where to look! I will be sure to keep you posted with photos of the new place and new vintage finds.

I enjoyed a lovely day with my two little cousins today - Sebastian and Loredana, we made play-dough rabbits, had a goo fight ... ( I was to scared to ask what kind of goo it actually was! ) We missed the ice-cream truck go past and oh was it the end of the world! They are so cute, I caught Sebastian saying " Oh shit, bye bye ice-cream man ",  his two.

Well I hope you all had a wonderful Easter, and you will be hearing from me soon.

I am SO excited, my best friend and I are moving out of home!!

I can now wave goodbye to 20 years of my life living with my parents. My mum is a little sad, I can tell...well behind the endless nagging of how I will not cope with washing, ironing, cooking and bla bla. I'm sure I will, I can have boiled rice for the rest of my life right? Ah I still cannot get over it, so hard to believe! We actually have no fridge, so warm milk will have to do ( I can see your facial expression right now ) And we finally have a home for our little green couch... 

I am looking forward to the many new locations I can use for future photo shoots, and of course a new territory for op shops dfkjdksjkjdksjjdksk . That was my excitement. 

I will miss Mokeo though : (

Oh my lordy, I just discovered American Apparel has launched a nail polish line! And would you look at those amazing colours. I die!

I can't wait to get my hands on those babies! 

When I grow old and own a fridge, I would like to fill it will nail polish.

Today, I day dreamed of all the op-shops I would visit around the world. I would probably turn in to a giant ball of fluff due to over excitement. Can you imagine all the great finds, Spearmint would be in Vintage heaven and so would you. I do plan to expand my travels, I'm just waiting for my seeds to grow into a money tree.

Today was the photo shoot for collection number four...

I found this beautiful spot, filled with lush green trees and grass as green as well, grass. Down fall was, it wasn't so secret as it was opposite a road, so I had fun trying to change from outfit to outfit without flashing any on lookers!

P.s. Did I mention, Liquorice Llama rings are now sold in store at Cream!(King st Newtown ), we are both so excited! Aprille and I were walking out of the store, 1 minute prior to finding out, holding our breath until the coast was clear... we screamed, well, a few loud screams whilst jumping up and down. I can't wait to see where Liquorice Llama takes us!

Liquorice Llama.

So the little secret collaboration I've been talking about is now ready to be revealed! I am so so excited! My best friend, Aprille and I have been swapping ideas, drinking tea whilst scribbling down our thoughts and frantically sketching away, and here it is...The Liquorice Llama. Yes that name may be a  little wacky ! But not to fear it has a story behind it, well some meaning at least. Ok so Liquorice is Aprille, she reminds me of one, one of those long bendy Liquorice sticks. She's such a lank ( short for lanky ) , but she is the most wonderfulest Liquorice you will ever meet. The end. 

Ok so Lama, yes you guessed it, that would be me. My family refer to me as one, apparently I walk like a Lama? And mum say's my eyelashes are exact as the lovely specie. I'm just so lucky. 

So basically we make vintage rings, using vintage buttons. Some of these buttons are ancient, as my Nonna past them onto me, they are very beautiful! I hope little Liquorice Llama brings us great success and I hope our hand-made rings leave you feeling all fuzzy...
